To help me stay away from Globex trading during tonight's bailout/no bailout news, I've gone to the camera to discuss perspectives on this September to remember.

The reference about the gold miner who stopped too soon can be found on Page 20, Chapter 1 of Napoleon Hill's "Think & Grow Rich". It is subtitled "The Man Who Quit Too Soon". It is the story of the uncle of R. U. Darby who quit drilling a gold mine and sold it to a junk dealer who later discovered that the previous owner had quit just 3 feet from a major gold vein.
In the same book, I like this verse found on Page 59:
"If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you like to win, but you think you can't,
It is almost certain you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out of the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will -
It's all in the state of mind.
If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!

A book that I've found incredibly enlightening about life and anything you want to do in life is a book called "The Power of Now". It is truly transformational and I highly recommend it to anyone no matter their endeavor. I think you'll find it improves every aspect of your life and it's quite honestly the best book I've ever read.
Thanks Charles & Ziad ... great stuff. I'll definitely check out "The Power of Now".
